Description
A calvary of wooden cross and figures covered in gold leaf, the base is a stone altar. Around the base of the shrine are paving slabs with the names of the fallen and a seat.

History
Clipsham stone figures replaces by Portland stone figures in 1924. Calvary repaired in 1933 when the gilt was removed from the figures. In 1948 it was renovated and the WW2 names added. In 1957, the central figure was removed and replaced by a new figure, in concrete, in the modern style, was erected as a memorial to Lady Dorothy Elton. The figure was designed and made by Mr Michael Braund, a student of the West of England College of Art in Brsitol. The original Comper central figure was given to a new church in Yeovil.
