- Description
- Octagonal column, supported by steps and an octagonal plinth with bronze plaques on alternating faces. Two plaques list WW1 names, another lists the WW2 names, while the fourth bears the dedication and an image of a bishop, flanked by two heraldic crests. Carved beneath this plaque are stone shields of the crosses of Saints Andrew, George and Patrick; and a small plaque with the WW2 inscription. The four sides without plaques have wreath hooks. Atop the column is a cross decorated with three hearts.
