- Inscription
- Hallsville Memorial Garden/ This garden has been created for the staff and pupils of Hallsville/ to commemorate the children and adult lives lost during the/ bombing of the school in the Second World War on 10th/ September 1940 whilst awaiting evacuation. The garden uses the theme of ascension. The stones rising from/ the earth acknowledge those for whom the school is their resting/ place and the community that still remembers them today. The garden was officially opened on 17th January 2006 and/ made possible by the support of the London Borough of Newham./ The concept was created by mooch.
