- To The Glory Of God And In Proud And Loving Memory Of Harold Gordon Lancelot Golding Lieutenant XXXV Sikhs Who Died On Active Service In Palestine On 3rd December 1920 Aetat XXll Years Interred At Ramleh Cemetery Palestine An Old Colfeian He Was Gazetted To The South Lancashire Regiment From The Artists Rifles In December 1916 And Served With The 8th Battalion In France And Flanders Until Severely Wounded In Ivly 1917 In 1918 He Was Attached To The 16th Devons And Campaigned With Them In Palestine And In The Great Advance In France Appointed To The Indian Army He Joined The XXXV Sikhs At Peshawar In January 1919 And Took Part In The Operations In Afghanistan And Waziristan “Vntil The Great Reveille”
