(NAVAL WING)/ SECOND SON OF FRANK STENHOUSE CRESWELL AND EMILY HIS FIRST WIFE/ OF CRUMPSALL, WIMBLEDON WHO WAS DROWNED IN THE EXECUTION OF/ HIS DUTY WHILE PILOTING SEAPLANE NO. 128 AT CALSHOT, THE FIRST/ FATAL ACCIDENT TO A NAVAL SEAPLANE./ A GALLANT OFFICER AND FEARLESS AVIATOR. A BRAVE COMRADE, A TRUE FRIEND. HE LOVED HIS COUNTRY. HIS MODEST AND UNASSUMING PERSONALITY/ GAINED THE LOVE AND RESPECT OF ALL WHO KNEW HIM./ BORN 1ST FEBRUARY 1887.
