Description
Obelisk on a square pedestal rising from an octagon of three tiers standing in the centre of a circular paved space. Two stone piers at High St entrance. (Our ref. 12278) Borough arms at base.

Condition
History
In August 2014 the memorial suffered from heavy vandalism. It is believed that after the attack a number of Police Officers cleaned the memorial as much as possible, and the vandalism is no longer visible. It is not known whether it suffered from any structural damage.
