Description
A window, with associated plaque. The window was destroyed during the Second World War, but the associated plaque remains and is set into the wall. The plaque is brass, landscape-orientated and nowy headed. There is a single line, incised border and the regimental crest carved at the top. At the bottom is carved a celtic cross. The inscription is in black, capitalised writing. Please also see War Memorial Ref 12,048 (which details another memorial dedicated to Wilson).

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/ HAROLD ALFRED COBBE WILSON SECOND LIEUTENANT/ 2ND MIDDLESEX. REGIMENT SECOND SON OF THE VICAR/ OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL IN ACTION AT SPION KOP NATAL/ JANUARY 24TH 1900 AGED 21 THE ABOVE WINDOW WAS/ ERECTED BY HIS PARENTS AND FOUR BROTHERS R. I. P.
