- Description
- Square column on a square tapered plinth, with a single stepped base. The inscribed faces on the plinth are cut smooth into the rough exterior. The main inscription is on the front face with additional names on the remaining three faces, all in lead lettering, but are now almost indecipherable. Due to apparent damage to the memorial, it is possible this was originally a cross, removed during the Second World War when the Church where this memorial was sited was destroyed.
