Description
Archway with two slender central columns. Wall with inscription on it placed immediately behind it. Sculpted figure of the Virgin Mary holding the body of Christ is placed on a pedestal that is positioned between to the two columns. Both figures have a carved nimbus around their heads. In front of the whole is a paved area with a low stone border around it Inscription carved above the archway, on a tablet set into the centre of the paved area, on the font of the pedestal and on the wall and sides of the arch. Carved foliate border on the arch and tops of the columns. Heraldic shield carved at the top centr eof the arch. Foliate branch twining around a medallion depicting a kneeling figure is carved on the tablet set into the centre of the paved area.
