- Red brick Chapel with portland stone dressings. Carved stone panels over entrance. Inside oak columns and seats. Circular antique windows, tinted. There are 44 numbered wall panels with names inscribed. Names are ordered by regiment. Wreaths in stone above entrance to chapel. Hornsey Coat of Arms above external doorway. Black and white marble tiled flooring.

- 2009: Chapel fully restored and forms focal frontage to new Hornsey Central Hospital development. The memorial is floodlit at night. April 2007: Chapel encircled by hoardings. Repair and restoration due to start in September 2007 when work on the new health resource begins. March 2007: Hospital has been demolished but the chapel still stands. November 2005: Hospital still under threat of demolition, but plans on hold due to financial constraints. Memorial deemed 'at risk' by English Heritage. 19 September 2001: Memorial is Grade II Listed by English Heritage. June 2001: Hospital due to be demolished to make way for sheltered housing.
