- White marble At the west end of the crypt near refreshment area an over life-size statue of a middle-aged man in military uniform and a long cloak. He rests both hands on a telescope to his right, which in turn rests on a coil of rope. The statue stands on a podium with a memorial inscription.

VINCENT / AS A TESTIMONY OF HIS DISTINGUISHED EMANENCE / IN THE NAVAL SERVICE OF HIS COUNTRY; / AND AS A PARTICULAR MEMORIAL OF THE GLORIOUS / AND IMPORTANT VICTORY WHICH HE GAINED OVER / THE SPANISH FLEET OFF CAPE ST. VINCENT, / ON THE 14TH. OF FEBRUARY 1797. / HE DIED ON THE 13TH. OF MARCH 1823.
