- UPRIGHT THICK STONE SLAB WITH SHOULDERS AND ARMS LIKE A CROSS AT THE TOP BUT BOTTOM HALF FILLED SOLID WITH INSCRIPTION CARVED INTO THE STONE. TOP HALF FEATURES A LARGE METAL PLAQUE IN THE SHAPE OF A SHORT-ARMED CROSS CARVED IN RELIEF WITH THE FIGURES OF THREE SERVICEMEN. To the left is a bust of a sailor, to the right an airman, with in the centre a full-length figure of a soldier in full trench kit, with steel helmet, cape and fixed bayonet.
