- Description
- Light-coloured Purbeck marble tablet with gold border, set in a surround of dark green veined marble, with smaller light-coloured marble tablet attached below. The main tablet and surround both have a stylised curved top. Within the top of the main tablet is a motif consisting of a wreath containing the words 'THE GREAT WAR'. The names of those commemorated are set out in three columns on the main tablet: at the top of the middle column is a design consisting of a gold crown with a cross to each side within a rectangular box. At bottom left and bottom right of the main tablet are square ornamental designs in coloured marble.
