Front of step: .../ Also of Thomas,/ beloved son of the above/ Who was Killed in Action in France,/ Dec. 14th 1915, Aged 22 years./ "Greater love hath no man than this, that/ a man lay down his life for his friends." Side f step: Also Gunner Harold Mather/ RFA. Their son & Beloved/ husband of Anna Mather/ Killed in Action Sept. 28th 1917/ Aged 28 years./ He nobly answered duty's call.
