- Granite Obelisk on a freestone pedestal 4 feet high x 2 feet 6 inches sq. on two steps 1 foot high x 3 feet square and 1 foot 3 inches high x 4 feet square, total height 14 feet. There is some moulding. The dedication and names are in lead lettering. Those for 1914-18 are in unusual format, listed alphabetically, but in lines of one, two or three names, in no set pattern. Those for 1939-45 are in a single column, with two further names on the riser of the step below. The whole is set inside a stone kerb, the railings from which have gone.
