Description
Two-stepped octagonal base surmounted by a square sectioned plinth with vertical stop-chamfered corners, followed by an octagonal sectioned riser stone, octagonal sectioned tapering shaft, boss and a St. Cuthbert's cross. Main incised inscription on 6 o'clock plinth face with names on the other three faces. Further incised inscription on octagonal sides of riser stone. All names and inscriptions infilled with black paint. The whole memorial is surrounded by a block paving stone area and is located on a strip of ground between two roads.
