A wall mounted metal plaque with incised inscription picked out in white, with the names of the WW1 fallen from Midville in two columns. This plaque appears to be either the original or a duplicate of that which was in St Peter's Church, Midville (WM Reference 20500)

THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918/ THOSE WHOM THIS BRASS TABLET/ COMMEMORATES WERE NUMBERED/ AMONG THOSE WHO, AT THE CALL/ OF KING AND COUNTRY, LEFT ALL/ THAT WAS DEAR TO THEM, ENDURED/ HARDSHIPS, FACED DANGER, AND/ FINALLY PASSED OUT OF THE/ SIGHT OF MEN BY THE PATH OF/ DUTY & SELFSACRIFICE, GIVING/ UP THEIR OWN LIVES THAT/ OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM./ (Names)/ THEIR GLORY SHALL NOT BE BLOTTED OUT AND/ THEIR NAMES LIVETH TO ALL GENERATIONS/ ECCLESIASTICUS 44 CHAP 16 & 14 VERSES./ R.I.P.
