- Centenary Square
- Description
- A formal lawned garden with the 'Hall of Memory' (WMR 2049) at its Eastern end, which is still in situ, and a Doric loggia along its Western end, which was dismantled in the 1980s during a re-ordering of the space, which entailed the removal of the Garden itself. The loggia was re-erected in the grounds of the bombed-out church of St Thomas in 1990, and incorporated into the Peace Garden which was created on that site in 1992 (see WMR 38693).
