- Polished black marble tablet with incised and gilded inscription beneath a gilded Eternal Flame, on a black marble base. One of twenty conflict-related memorials in and around the flower-beds surrounding the statue of Liverpool-born Prime Minister WE Gladstone (1809-1898) in St John’s Gardens, West of St George’s Hall.
