Aspects of enlistment and training with Royal Marines at Royal Marine Depot, Deal, 1954-1955: selection procedure, 1954; pattern of training at Deal; cleaning kit; accommodation; cleaning accommodation for inspection; rations; discipline; origins of recruits; drill, arms and physical training; swimming test. REEL 2 Continues: Aspects of period as training as marine at Lympstone in GB, 3/1955-6/1955: pattern of infantry training; accommodation; gas training; daily routine; shore leave; lectures on history of corps; pay; parade ground work; passing out parade.
