REEL 1 Aspects of period as cadet and officer with Royal Navy in GB, 1920-1940: memories of period as cadet with the Royal Naval College, Osborne and Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, 1920-1924; reaction to Invergordon Mutiny, 15/9/1931-16/9/1931. Recollections of operations as Fleet Anti-Aircraft Officer with Mediterranean Fleet in Mediterranean, 1940-1942: prior service on anti-aircraft duties; appointment to role; problems integrating radar into control systems of ship; his anti-aircraft duties in Alexandria, Egypt; character of blind barrage anti-aircraft defence system over Alexandria, Egypt; main tasks of the Mediterranean Fleet, 1940; reception of HMS Warspite in Grand Harbour, Valetta, Malta; character of HMS Warspite; memories of Admiral Andrew Cunningham.
