REEL 1: Historical overview of importance of military intelligence from Ghengis Khan and Otto I to Frederick II and Bismarck; enumeration of basic prerequisites for such a service; failure of German intelligence network, 1914-1933, revival under Heydrich 1933.
REEL 2 Continues: refutation of outsiders' mis-conceptions; fundamental tenets of Weltanschauung; clan-like nature.
REEL 3 Continues: Increase in specialised knowledge amongst SS; correct attitudes to non-Germans; use of agents;expectations of intelligence service; loyalty to Hitler, obedience, comradeship, truthfulness; recalls vow of 1934 on willingness to spill blood; importance of honouring promises.
