Coston: sighting U-470 near end of patrol. Loney: sighting of submarine and it's opening fire on aircraft. Goodwin: sight of second Consolidated Liberator making attack. Coston: selection of depth charges; work of Sergeant John Dixon firing at U-470 from front gun turret. Loney: opinion of accurracy of air gunner Sergeant John Dixon's firing and navigator Flying Officer George Coston's placing of depth charges. Coston: U-470 continuing on course after attack.
