whole: the image occupies the upper main, with the title and accompanying text positioned across the top in white. Further text locate at the bottom, also in white. All are set against a dark brown background. image: seven British infantymen stand firing from a shallow trench. A small image is integrated featuring two football teams arriving on the pitch led by a British NCO. text: YOUNG MEN OF BRITAIN!! THE GERMANS SAID YOU WERE NOT IN EARNEST Extract from Frankfurter Zeitung:- 'The young Britons prefer to exercise their long limbs on the football ground, rather than to expose them to any sort of risk in the service of their country.'
