Empty cardboard box for Actavis Doxycycline capsules, with information leaflet printed on paper, the box is predominantly white with pale blue and silver design printed, the weight '100g' is numerously printed in white on green background on all sides of the box, the front of the box is printed with information about the former contents as follows 'Doxycycline Capsules - 50 capsules - For oral use', on the back is more detailed information 'Each capsule contains Doxycycline hyclate equivalent to 100g of Doxycycline base. For oral use. Use as directed by physician. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store below 25c in a dry place'. The box is complete with a numerously folded paper information leaflet printed black on white.

Issued to Corporal Steven Mckeown of 1st Battalion, Royal Scots Regiment (1 SCOTS) prior to his 10 October 2014 - February 2015 deployment on Sierra Leone on Operation Gritlock, the British contribution to combatting the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. During this time 1 SCOTS's role was on Force Protection for Makeni Forward Operating Base. McKeown commented "Malaria was a major health risk in Sierra Leone. Were issued these and had to take them".
