British Army artic windproof smock, c. 1976 - 2000. The long sleeved smock is made of green, brown and sand coloured disruptive pattern material (camouflage). It has a hood with a malleable wire rim. There is a central heavy duty zip down the front, alongside which are strips of velcro. The waist is partially elasticated and there is also a green fabric drawstring through the lower hem, the ends of which are emerging from cotton-reinforced eyelets. There are two breast and two hip pockets fastened by green plastic buttons, the left breast pocket and the right hip pockect the button is missing. There are velcro straps on the cuffs for tightening, there is a small pocket on the upper left arm, there is a rank slide tab on the chest fastened by a green plastic button. There are small tears and fraying edges consistent with use. On the inside is stitched a green fabric label with printed description and "size 6"
