Jacket, Service Dress, 1916 pattern: 2nd Lieutenant, Army Service Corps
Single breasted four-pocket jacket with open 'stepped' collar, the cuffs featuring inverted 'V' decoration. The breast pockets are pleated and the expanding bellows pockets to the skirts are all fitted with Corps pattern crested buttons. Single gilt rank stars are fitted to the epaulettes and Corps pattern collar badges are fitted to the upper lapels. Inside, is a small flapped pocket to left skirt, close by single exposed horn button.
