Long-sleeved jumper of white cotton drill featuring a fly-fronted zip opening that terminates below the chest, opening in a V-shape to a shawl collar that turns into a square neck flap at the back. The outside facing of the collar and neck flap is of blue jean material, with three white tapes running along the edges. The bottom hem of the jumper and cuffs have a blue jean trim, while each cuff is fastened with two white buttons. There are two internal chest pockets.
Sewn to the upper right arm is the non-substantive (trade) badge of Torpedo Anti-Submarine Rating, 3rd Class, being two crossed torpedoes bisected by a downwards-pointing harpoon and a superimposed coil, with a single star above. To the upper left arm is sewn a single chevron-shaped good conduct badge. Both badges are embroidered in blue on a white field.
