According to the Navy List, Captain Agnew was serving in HMS MAURITIUS in August 1943.
No information about when or how this item was donated or came to HMS Belfast. Agnew's blue service dress uniform was accessioned by DEAF in 1978. Two calling cards from the United Services Club were found in the battle dress blouse pocket, inscribed with handwritten notes from a farewll speech.
