light brown soft leather gloves with press-stud fastenings to each wrist. Gloves have, at some point, been displayed by fixing them to the display surface with pins and each glove bears five small holes probably resulting from this.
Known to have been given to the Museum after the First World War by Captain Ball's father. Formerly on display in the VC/GC Room and removed for display at the IWMN, Manchester.
