blue service dress cap with black patent leather peak with two rows of oakleaves in gold thread, a black mohair cap band and black patent leather chinstrap. Cap badge is that of an officer of air rank. Inside of cap lined with a thin layer of oilskin, sweatband is brown leather. Hatters markings are stamped in gold into the leather sweatband and onto the inside of the crown of the cap under the oilskin lining.
