Silver bullet in very good condition, on the end a metal hoop has been attached so it can be hung from something, 'TRANSVAAL AUGT 9TH 1900' has been engraved along the side. A brown label has been tied to the metal loop on one side it reads 'FOR "GOOD LUCK" BOER BULLET PICKED UP DURING A FIGHT IN THE TRANSVAAL' on the reverse it reads 'FROM. LT COL G YOUNGHUSBAND' both have been hadwritten.
This item had belonged to the 5th Marquess of Exeter, William Cecil, and was donated by his daughter Lady Brassey.
