Physical description

Pack of 32 playing cards printed yellow, green, red, blue and black, many of which feature figures in historical costume sitting or standing with weapons or military musical instruments. The cards are inside a slim red and white printed cardboard box printed with the words "Einköpfige 32 Blatt". One of the tabs has become detached from the box.

First World War/Second World War German card game, 'Einkopfige,' made by the Altenburger und Stralsunder Spielkarten-Fabriken, Aktiengesellschaft. Complete (thirty-two cards) with original box.

History note

Associated period: not clear whether First or Second World War in origin.
