Large stuffed rag doll printed on both sides with front and rear images of a First World War sergeant. The uniform is sand-coloured and the figure is holding a rifle in front of him. A long fabric strip pinned to the back of the doll is printed with the words "RAG DOLL No3 SOLDIER. PAINTED BY SAMUEL FINBURGH, 5th JUNE 1915".
This appears to be a modern reproduction sold by the Victoria & Albert Museum, that has been cut out, sewn together and stuffed.
