Vertical rectangular charity appeal card for the Over-Seas League Tobacco Fund, on printed card, the main design shows soldiers being given cigarettes and on the reverse is a picture of wounded soldiers lighting up their cigarettes.

Second World War (post-1943) British charity appeal card for the work of the Over-Seas League Tobacco Fund. The design on the front depicts the distribution of cigarettes to British soldiers together with a very positive message of the efficiency, importance and value of the fund. The reverse, showing British/Commonwealth wounded in hospital enjoying the delights of recuperation with tobacco, doubles as an application form for donations.

Men-no forgetting the Wounded in
*Casualty Clearing Stations and Base
Hospitals overseas, and in Hospitals in
this country-and help to cheer tham up.

Postcards will be enclosed with every
parcel, bearing your own name and
address, to bring back to you grateful
thanks from the men themselves!
