Physical description

Glazed ceramic toby jug depicting Field Marshal Montgomery in a black beret and brown jacket. The words "EL ALAMEIN" appear on the handle. On the base is a Royal Doulton maker's mark, three tank silhouettes and the words "FIELD MARSHALL MONTGOMERY D 6908 The El Alamein Edition MODELLED BY Stanley James Taylor".

History note

Serial No 1942 from limited edition of 2500.
