Metal knife improvised from a long nail which has been beaten flat and sculpted to form a blade at one end.

History note

Acquired by Terence John Image of the Kenya Prison Service when commander of Karatine Detention Camp from 1957, shortly after the Kenya (Mau Mau) Emergency.
