Headdress badge to a Chaplain General of the Royal Army Chaplains Department, being a General Officer's badge of gold bullion cushion embroidery of a Royal Crest, with a St. Edward's (Queen's) crown with coloured silk detail and red velvet cap, linking the tips of a broad wreath of laurel in the voided centre of which a crossed sword and baton on a black velvet backing. Captioned: "Headdress Badge / Chaplain General". Badge glued to mounting card.
