badge: Headdress badge to the 2nd King Edward's Horse (King's Overseas Dominion Regiment), being a wreath, left arm of laurel, right arm of oak, a King's crown joining the tips of the wreath, below the crown and extending across the top of the wreath, a scroll bearing KING EDWARD'S HORSE, with a small label between the centre of the scroll and the crown inscribed 2nd. Scrolls on the wreath inscribed: (left) Canada, N. Zealand and (right) Australia, S.Africa. In the centre of the wreath a shield bearing the Royal Arms and below this three scrolls inscribed India, Crown Colonies, 1914; below the wreath a scroll inscribed Empire and Liberty.
