badge: bi-metal cap badge to the Suffolk Regiment, being the castle of Gibraltar with a scroll above inscribed GIBRALTAR and a key depending from the centre of the base and turned to the left, all within a circlet inscribed MONTIS INSIGNIA CALPE; the whole within an oak leaf wreath; above the circlet and between the ends of the wreath, a King's crown. Below the circlet a scroll inscribed THE SUFFOLK REGIMENT. Badge in white metal, unit scroll in Gilding metal. Slider to reverse.
