Button, large, anodised aluminium, domed, plain. Reverse has a single central drop shank and stamp for GAUNT / LONDON.
Pouch is white cotton with narrow red stripe.
Button and pouch secured to label with a length of white cotton tape sealed to reverse with a red sealing wax seal of the shield of the Arms of the Board of Ordnance with above a coronet from which extends an arm holding lightning bolts.
