A black wool irregular pentagon with square top and pointed bottom. Upon the black field is a silver bullion embroidered eagle with outstretched wings looking to its left wing, 5.6cm in height. Below the eagle are two crossed anchors in dulled silver bullion. Below this is are three red chevrons, the top chevron having an arc attached. The arc and top chevron enclose the crossed anchors and the top of the arc sits behind the perch, talons and tail of the eagle.
The badge has white cotton backing material.
