Badge: Facing pair of rank shoulder slides to a Surgeon Lieutenant Commander (Dental) of the Royal Naval Reserve, being a strip of narrow gold rank lace between two similar strips of broad lace, the strips separated by orange cloth, the upper strip with a curl in which embroidered in gold wire the letter R, the fold of the curls facing different ways, all stitched onto a black backing. Three male poppers at one end and three black-capped female at the other.
