Badge: a pair of gilt metal collar badges for the Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment), officers, being the Star of the Order of the Thistle over the centre of which a circlet on which NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT (None Touches Me With Impunity), in the voided centre of the circlet a thistle flower flanked by two thistle leaves as in a wreath, behind the voided centre a green enamelled background. The circlet and thistle in gilding metal with burnished finish, the Star in Nickel Silver Dead Silver plate. Each badge has a single central lug to reverse and a rectangular brass backing plate with rounded short ends and two slots, one central, one towards a short end on the opposite orientatioin.
Bag: Small white cotton drawstring bag.
