Physical description

Circular silver plastic badge, with a matt grey finish on the face. On the face is a central design depicting an upward pointing sword, superimposed over a circular oak leaf wreath containing a swastika. Behind the hilt is a rectangular panel bearing the date inscription 1938. At the base is the SA logo of stylised initials wthin a circular border. Surrounding the design is a circular border inscription reading SPORT-U.WEHRWETTKÄMPFE S.A.GRUPPE BAYER OSTMARK. A metal retaining pin is attached to the reverse.
