An Egyptian token issue of value 10 milliemes, issued by the Gezira Sporting Club, the denomination is embossed in the centre and is encircled by the name of the club, the reverse is unmarked.

History note

A token issued in Egypt by the Gezira Sporting Club as a result of a shortage of Egyptian currency during the Second World War. The club was originally created for British military personnel and Egypt's British administrators sometime in the 1880's.
