In 1957-8 the Finnish Ministry of Defence acquired 76,115 British Sten Guns for training purposes. This was done via a swap with arms dealers Interarmco, who received war surplus rifles and machine guns in exchange.
History note
Stens acquired by Finland via 1957 exchange with Interarmco. Much used for training.
