Buff cardboard box with label printed in black over a pale white and green background with 'ELEY' in white, containing 10 centrefire cartridges. The straight case is of coiled brass construction with a battery cup primer. The lead bullet is paper patched and is copper tubed.
An example of a commercial sporting rifle cartridge box by Eley Bros. The Eley trade mark came into use on 13 August 1874. The .360 Express was introduced c. 1885 and apparantly dropped from the Eley line in 1919, and it was listed in coiled brass form throught this period.
