medal with ribbon The obverse depicts Haakon in military uniform, surrounded by the inscription HAAKON 7 NORGES KONGE. Above which is a crown. The reverse has the inscription TIL MINNE OM 70 ARSDAGEN 3 AUGUST 1942, with a decorative pattern around the circumference. The ribbon is red with two central yellow stripes.
