History note
Ivor Alfred Hooker originally served with the Royal Armoured Corps, reaching the rank of Sergeant. In 1944 he parachuted into France as the wireless operator of the three-man JEDBURGH Team 'AUBREY'. After service in France he was posted to SEAC and travelled in a convoy leaving the UK in November 1944. After the war he joined the Police and later enlisted in the RAF as Chief Technician. He died in August 1988.
